The StepLess® Ear Clamps 167 series used in plumbing connections are suitable for ASTM F876 Cross Linked Polyethylene PEX pipes with ASTM F1807 / F2159 insert fittings. Clamp sizes are only designed for PEX applications with corresponding inch sizes. The robust lock design, developed especially for PEX applications, provides high radial load for clamps. The PEXGrip® Series 167 is pre-adjusted to prevent the clamp from slipping. This grips the tube for easy assembly.

Assembly Instructions

The clamps must be completely closed for the Oetiker PEX clamp to be correctly mounted with the PEX pipe. Oetiker’s ratchet pliers used in the assembly of PEX clamps are F2098 compatible and are released only when the clamp is fully closed. Use the tool recommended by Oetiker for correct assembly.
