194 stainless steel, material no. 1.4310 / UNS S30100 The diameter of the clamp must be determined most accurately to ensure that the correct operation is applied – the radial force required, the nature of the hose and the required sealing and insulation properties are all extremely important.

Load Holding Hook
Tightening is achieved when the load holding hook is locked in the load holding window. Both hook and window have been specially developed for this type of clamp. The reduction in diameter of the clamp ER is proportional to the closing distance, which is about 4 mm. The thin material used in the manufacture of these clamps is only 0.25 mm, which means that after mounting there is only a small stage where the two ends of the clamps overlap. The effect of this is that the ER clamps apply almost homogeneous pressure or surface pressure on the clamped parts. The result is the effective clamping of compressible materials in all types of applications. The sealing properties of the ER clamps depend on the flexibility provided by the compressed elastic material of the joined parts.

Assembly Proposals
Er clamps can be tightened using specially developed manual pincers or pneumatic pincers for large quantities. To attach a clamp, the diameter is reduced by the help of Jaws that completely surround it, until the load-keeping hook locks into the load-keeping window at the overlapping end. There is no need for a certain adjustment in the tool before tightening.
