Using this low-profile body and mounting screw, provide captive screw solutions for applications with minimal space above the face of the panel or where a flush mounting appearance is desired. It is used in most aluminum or low carbon steels which are 1/4 hard or soft. Flush mounting screws are installed in panels up to 1.3 mm (.05) taper. The screw thread is secured to an intermediate part or other threaded partitions.
STANDARDS AND FEATURES
The screw retention method prevents the screw from being removed from the enchanted shell.

Screws float with a total movement of 0.5 mm (.02) to provide some play for easier alignment
